The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is geared for people who are non-native speakers of English.
This program is in very high demand in the South Bay, where many foreign-born residents live. Many of our students therefore speak or understand little or no English, and need to learn to speak it, as well as read and write it.
Our ESL program is based on a system developed by Dr. Frank C. Laubach. The Laubach Method has been used to teach literacy in English in more than 300 languages and more than 100 nations.
